Main Characteristics

Billy Blue's offers high advanced features compared to standard call billing software. It is easy to use and it boosts ‘PUSH’ technology that automatically sends information and notices to the user. Billy Blue’s prevents the user from searching the required information, as it can be scheduled to send email concerning information, costs, use, efficiency, proper functioning and more.

The software is composed of a number of tools that will be described in detail in the following pages that can be browsed using the ‘tool bar’ here above (n° 1 in the figure) or from the Home page, using the links next to the icons placed in the centre of the page (n° 2 in the figure).

Call Monitor:

The main query tool for analysing all recent events, such as today’s calls  or this week’s.
As the hereunder figure shows, the call monitor is made up of panels that can show a chart or data.

The call monitor can be fully customised in its content and number of panels. Use the tool menu to configure the view structure from 1 to 8 panels and decide what to show in the panels using the provided list.

The statistics:

The statistics area is the software core and the main tool to perform in-deep queries on data and trends. The software is provided with a number of statistics that are divided into categories:

• Call monitor,
• Cost analysis,
• Efficiency analysis
• Ranks

Each statistic can be filtered, scheduled, emailed, printed and exported.

Company data:

Company data shows:

• Phone book
• Extension manager that helps organising in departments and cost centre
• Tables and filters for accessing the data directly

Tariffs:

The tariff panel shows available and configured carrier tariffs used for calculating the call costs. The tariffs, time bands and tariffs options can be modified in this panel, both for in use and available tariffs. New tariffs can also be imported from disk drive or from the internet.

Scheduling and alarms:

The scheduling and alarms section is the real brand new feature of the product, compared to the previous version. The scheduler sends, with the specified frequency, emails containing statistics, alarms, notifications about exceeding a monthly expense, high cost calls, faults on the importation process and much more.

Each created alarm performs a number of check ups on the data and can be set to email notifications in case something goes wrong.
